After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Bears committed. Michael Penix Jr. is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. Little to argue with here, and the A- says so.

They will need Hunt to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Michael Penix Jr. and all.
