Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Jowon Briggs at pick 226 is 43 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline.

Gore Jr. falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
