Ransom should have been long gone. The Bengals pounced, and earned a D.

Somebody took the Bengals to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it.

Every board in the league had Schwesinger lower, and that gap is the story. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Ransom at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
