The Bears lost the trade table, and the C- tells the story.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Bears did exactly that with Reuben Fatheree II in slot 244.

That Hampton pick is the receipt they will wave around later. Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.
