The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Bears reached some 76 spots for Micah Morris, and value like that does not grow back. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

They punted on running back, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
