The Bears put a flag in the ground for Jimmy Horn Jr., 102 picks before anyone else would have, and the value took the hit. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

Getting Ransom where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.

They went 5 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
