The Bears kept it disciplined and banked a B.

The tape said wait; the Bears did not. Patrick Payton went at Round 4, Pick 23, a good 61 picks before the board was ready. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

A whole weekend of picks and offensive lineman is somehow still a want. However the rest shakes out, Lawson at that price is a win they earned. They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
