Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Bears were there to profit. Ja'Quinden Jackson, the No. 108 name on the board, should have been long gone before the 228th pick. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

If Parker pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. The cornerback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
