No fireworks, just a tidy B- for the Bengals.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Bengals reached some 47 spots for Hayden Hatten, and value like that does not grow back. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

The Ulofoshio steal is the beam this whole class leans on. The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
