You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Bengals did exactly that with Carson Steele in Round 7, Pick 18. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

The Harden pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. Leaving linebacker unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
