More right than wrong for the Bengals, and a B to prove it.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Bengals did exactly that with Jaylen Harrell in pick 254. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

Landing Newton that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. For all the activity, linebacker went untouched, which is hard to explain.

They went 6 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
