More right than wrong for the Bengals, and a B- to prove it.

There is a lot to like until you notice interior defensive lineman is still a hole. The Bengals never got to the one that mattered most. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

They banked enough surplus on Weaver to cover a lot of smaller sins. Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
