You could see the war room lean forward. De'Corian Clark at slot 195 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through cornerback. The Jackson pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at cornerback, interior defensive lineman and other spots.

The Spann-Ford reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. Tight end was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the cornerback spot they never got to.
