This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Bucky Irving, the No. 131 name on the board, stolen at the Round 6 slot.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. Every board in the league had Briggs lower, and that gap is the story. They will regret leaving tight end for another day if the season turns on it.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
