Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Bengals spent the 254th pick on Kendall Milton, a name most had 183 spots down the list. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

The Bengals indulged a want in Jackson while a need in linebacker and quarterback stayed open. The Lovett value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.

Leaving linebacker unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
