Best value of the weekend goes to the Bengals for Pearsall: B-.

The Bengals spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Ricky Pearsall, the No. 200 name on the board, in the 245th overall pick. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

Proctor has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They will regret leaving linebacker for another day if the season turns on it. Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Good work on the whole, with linebacker the one box left unchecked.
