The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: David Bailey, pick 186, roughly 48 picks past where he belonged.

The cost of the Porter reach is exactly the players who went right after him. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up. The Myles Bryant pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.
