Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Bengals spent pick No. 191 on Jamaree Caldwell, a name most had 106 spots down the list. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

They banked enough surplus on Starks to cover a lot of smaller sins. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
