Best value of the weekend goes to the Bengals for Devonshire: D.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Bengals shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. The math is unkind, and the D follows.

The Devonshire pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback.

The veteran additions, Mark Andrews chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
