The Bengals let Castro fall into their laps, and walked away with a B.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Bengals were there to profit. Sebastian Castro, the No. 87 name on the board, should have been long gone before No. 151. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

That tight end hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

The back end got a real overhaul.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
