The Browns cashed the board's mistake on Johnson: A-.

If you want a masterclass in dealing, watch the Browns, who turned every swap into a profit this weekend.

However the rest shakes out, Johnson at that price is a win they earned. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The veteran additions, Kevin Dotson chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

In the end it comes back to Arvell Reese, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
