The Bears let Davis fall into their laps, and walked away with a B.

Somebody in Round 2, Pick 20 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Bears sat still while Tacario Davis, the No. 19 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

Reaching for Griffith left real value on the table behind him. The running back spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
