A costly weekend of dealing drags the Chiefs to a D-.

Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Chiefs spent pick No. 104 on Antwaun Powell-Ryland, a name the board had a full 45 spots lower. Hard to defend, and the D- reflects that.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Ransom steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and tight end is still a hole.
