The steal of the weekend belongs to the Giants and Winston Jr.: A.

You could see the war room lean forward. Kevin Winston Jr. at pick No. 155 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. A near-flawless weekend of work, and a A to cap it.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. If Burch pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. Leaving cornerback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

The Giants paired the rookies with proven help, Jaycee Horn leading the way.

It is a haul that will look even better come September.
