Nobody dealt better than the Falcons this weekend: A-.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Falcons did exactly that with Donovan Smith in the 103rd pick. Little to argue with here, and the A- says so.

The Lawson value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

The Falcons paired the rookies with proven help, Christian Gonzalez leading the way.

It is a haul that will look even better come September.
