Somebody in the 140th overall pick was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Giants sat still while Kaytron Allen, the No. 98 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

If Moore pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
