A passer of the future in Maye, and a A, for the Bears.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Bears spent their marquee pick on Drake Maye, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. The board rewarded a patient, disciplined weekend with a A.

If Cole pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. Flournoy at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through running back.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Drake Maye and all.
