When a board-topper like Jeffrey Bassa slides to pick 191, you do not overthink it, and the Browns did not.

Reaching for Howard left real value on the table behind him. The phones were where this weekend was really won.

For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster.

It is a haul that will look even better come September.
