The Texans let McGlothern fall into their laps, and walked away with a D-.

Nobody else had Taulia Tagovailoa anywhere near the Round 7 slot. The Texans did, by 38 spots, and that gap is the whole story. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D- is the result.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. They will answer for taking DT-EDGE early while interior defensive lineman went begging. The McGlothern pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
