A sensible, unshowy class lands the Bills a B-.

The one they had to fix is still broken. The Bills left quarterback untouched, and that omission hangs over an otherwise reasonable haul. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

That is a safety worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. Jacobs has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They left with linebacker solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
