The steal of the weekend belongs to the Giants and Kilgore: B.

The board owed the Giants one, and it paid up: Jalon Kilgore, the No. 118 name on the board, sitting there at Round 5, Pick 2 like a gift left on the doorstep. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Delp has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Safety was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
