The Bills did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Jake Majors fell into slot 175. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

They are betting Martin proves the room right and everyone else wrong. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

The trade work was a quiet net positive. The roster is better shaped than it was, with linebacker chief among the fixes.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
