The Bills ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

Rosengarten falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. The Bills indulged a want in Solomon while a need in running back and tight end stayed open.

The running back spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. If Solomon pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the running back spot they never got to.
