The Bills treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending No. 174 on Drake Nugent a full 36 spots early.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. The linebacker spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Cowing steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and linebacker is still a hole.
