The Bills bled value on every deal, hence the D-.

Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Bills spent Round 5, Pick 27 on Joe Milton III, a name most had 37 spots down the list. The math is unkind, and the D- follows.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped linebacker, which is a strange place to end up. Getting Thrash where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

They went 6 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.
