A masterclass at the trade table lands the Cardinals a A-.

The real work happened on the phones. The Cardinals fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with. Just about everything broke right, and the A- follows.

For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Cardinals clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

However the rest shakes out, Fiske at that price is a win they earned. It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.

In the end it comes back to Rome Odunze, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
