The Eagles spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Jaylen Reed, the No. 179 name on the board, in pick No. 233. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

Reaching for Hayes left real value on the table behind him. For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The dealing tilted against them, just enough to notice.
