Nobody had Braelon Allen this high, and it is not close. The Bears reached 53 spots to get him at the 106th overall pick. About as rough as the board gets, and a F to prove it.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. Getting Turner where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.

In short, a weekend the front office will want to forget in a hurry.
