The Cardinals worked the phones like thieves and earned a A-.

The real work happened on the phones. The Cardinals fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with. One of the weekend's best, top to bottom, and a A- to show for it.

The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Carson pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback, running back and other spots still on the board. That is an edge rusher worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

A strong weekend's work, and a rare one to find this little fault with.
