It is a puzzling start. The Steelers had quarterback, running back and other spots to solve and reached instead for Jackson Powers-Johnson, an offensive lineman, at No. 52. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Logan Jr.. Interior defensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
