The Steelers did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B-.

It is a puzzling start. The Steelers had quarterback, safety and other spots to solve and reached instead for Roger Rosengarten, an offensive lineman, at No. 119. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Jacobs has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

Job largely done: interior defensive lineman settled and 4 of 9 of the wish list covered.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
