Of all the ways to open, the Steelers chose the head-scratcher, spending No. 119 on Roger Rosengarten with quarterback, safety and other spots still wide open. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Rosengarten has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

They went 4 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.
