Priorities are a choice, and the Steelers made a strange one, taking Javon Foster at offensive lineman in the Round 4 slot with quarterback, edge rusher and other spots crying out for the pick instead.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. Rice has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The roster is better shaped than it was, with interior defensive lineman chief among the fixes.

Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
