The Steelers torched the value chart for Gabe Hall, taking him 44 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. With quarterback, safety and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on DT-EDGE is the choice that costs them. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
