The Steelers let Rosengarten fall and pounced. Final grade: B+.

The Steelers ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided. Good, not great, and the B+ says as much.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. Rosengarten at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

Spending an early pick on offensive lineman with interior defensive lineman, safety and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. The Steelers paired the rookies with proven help, L'Jarius Sneed leading the way.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
