The rest of the league had time to spare on CJ West; the Bills did not wait, grabbing him 41 spots ahead at No. 173. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

Bond at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. That linebacker hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Job largely done: offensive lineman settled and 5 of 9 of the wish list covered.
