The rest of the league will want that one back. Jalen Milroe tumbling to the Seahawks in Round 3, Pick 15 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

They will need Lachey to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up.

They went 4 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
