The Steelers did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Bhayshul Tuten fell into No. 245. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

They will need Truss to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Interior defensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
