Draft Grade — Raiders
Overall

FutureB-
The Raiders found their guy under center in Mendoza: B-. They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Fernando Mendoza is the Raiders' quarterback, full stop. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.
For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. Hood at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
Pick Analysis
Pick1
Rnd1
Fernando Mendoza
In Round 1, Pick 1 they get the arm they will build around. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick36
Rnd2
Colton Hood
A slide stopped in the Round 2 slot, with Colton Hood worth more than the price. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick67
Rnd3
Connor Lew
By-the-book stuff, Connor Lew at slot 67 squarely in line with his ranking. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick102
Rnd4
Harold Perkins Jr.
A tidy little value on Harold Perkins Jr. in the 102nd pick, a step better than break-even. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick117
Rnd4
Zachariah Branch
A tidy bit of business in the 117th overall pick, where Zachariah Branch graded well above the range. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick134
Rnd4
Ar'maj Reed-Adams
Nothing to complain about; Ar'maj Reed-Adams went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick174
Rnd5
Oscar Delp
Oscar Delp at pick 174 is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the tight end. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick180
Rnd6
Le'Veon Moss
Good price on Le'Veon Moss in No. 180, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick183
Rnd6
Sawyer Robertson
The board had Sawyer Robertson higher than pick No. 183, and the quarterback fell to them anyway. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick219
Rnd7
Ahmaad Moses
No edge and no loss on Ahmaad Moses in the Round 7 slot; it is a wash and a sensible one. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
