The Browns drew a line under the quarterback search with Ward: B-.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Browns were there to profit. T.J. Sanders, the No. 40 name on the board, should have been long gone before the Round 7 slot. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

Cam Ward gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.

On the needs board they went 9 of 9, with quarterback the one that mattered most.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
